Privacy Policy

Effective September 20, 2026 · Last updated September 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Willow Peaks Logistics LLC (“Willow Peaks,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you use willowpeakslogistics.com (the “Site”) or submit a quote or booking. It is posted to meet California’s Online Privacy Protection Act (Business & Professions Code §§ 22575–22579) and to describe our practices for California residents.

Our Terms of Service govern use of the Site. Questions: quotes@willowpeakslogistics.com.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide: name, company, email, phone, pickup and drop locations, service type, vehicle preference, cargo notes, dimensions, weight, and any other details you type into a form or send by email, phone, or text.

We automatically collect device and usage data when you load the Site, including IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, pages viewed, referring URL, date and time, and similar diagnostics. Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-GJW37PH9W3) runs on the Site for this purpose.

We do not intentionally collect Social Security numbers, payment-card data, or precise geolocation of your phone through this Site. Do not send health, biometric, or other sensitive information in a quote form.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Respond to quotes and bookings and to perform transportation, courier, and related work
  • Confirm windows, issue invoices, and collect payment
  • Operate, secure, and improve the Site
  • Measure traffic and content performance (analytics)
  • Comply with law, USDOT/FMCSA recordkeeping, claims, and audits
  • Protect rights, safety, and the integrity of our operations

We do not use Site analytics to show you third-party ads.

3. How we share information

We share information with:

  • Service providers that process data for us, including email delivery (Resend), website hosting, and Google Analytics / Google LLC
  • Turo, Tesla, mapping, or similar providers when you choose to use those services
  • Professional advisors (insurance, legal, accounting) under confidentiality
  • Authorities when the law requires, or to protect rights and safety
  • A buyer or successor if we sell or reorganize the business, subject to this policy

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are used in the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA. We do not have actual knowledge of selling or sharing the personal information of consumers under 16.

4. Cookies, analytics, and Do Not Track

The Site uses cookies and similar storage as needed to run the application and as set by Google Analytics. You can control cookies in your browser; blocking them may break parts of the Site.

Google may process analytics data under its own policies. You can learn more in Google’s privacy documentation and, where Google offers it, use Google’s opt-out tools.

The Site does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track (DNT) signals, because there is no consistent industry standard for DNT. This disclosure is provided as California law requires.

5. Retention

Quote and booking records are kept as long as needed to perform the work, meet tax and transportation recordkeeping (including periods FMCSA or California may require), resolve disputes, and enforce agreements, then deleted or de-identified when no longer needed. Analytics records follow Google’s retention settings for our property.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to a small motor-carrier website, including transport encryption on the Site and restricted access to the desk inbox. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. California privacy rights

If the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended) applies to us for a given year, you may have the right to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of sale/share, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Even if we are below the CCPA “business” thresholds in a given year, you may email quotes@willowpeakslogistics.com to request a copy of the personal information we have from your quote or booking, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it, subject to legal holds and transportation recordkeeping.

California Civil Code § 1798.83 (Shine the Light) allows certain residents to request information about disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing. Shine the Light requests: quotes@willowpeakslogistics.com, subject “Shine the Light.”

We will not require you to create an account solely to submit a privacy request. We may need to verify your identity (for example, matching email and a booking detail) before completing a request. You may use an authorized agent as California law allows; we may require proof of authority.

8. Children

The Site is for adults and business shippers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (COPPA) or sell to minors. If you believe a child provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Where data is processed

We operate in the United States. If you access the Site from elsewhere, you understand information is processed in the United States, which may have different privacy laws than your country.

10. Changes

We will post updates on this page and change the effective date. Material changes will be posted before they take effect where the law requires.
